Oak Hill Apartments is a Section 8 Moderate Rehab Single Room Occupancy Community for homeless single persons.  We normally work from a waiting list, so if you would like more information, please contact our Property Manager at 803/714-6169 to have a pre-application sent to you to complete.

Oak Hill Apartments is located at 2709 Two Notch Road, one block off of Beltline heading south toward downtown Columbia.  It is a formerly dilapidated hotel that was refurbished to provide 29 efficiency studio apartments to single homeless persons through Section 8 Moderate Rehab Section 8 Assistance.  All of our residents must come from the HUD approved definition of homelessness, such as a shelter or transitional housing program.  A resident pays a rent equal to approximately 30% of their adjusted gross income, or $25 per month, whichever is greater.  The remainder of the rental assistance is provided by Section 8 funding. 

The studio community consists of 29 furnished apartments complete with a starter kit of items for a homeless person to set up their new home in the apartment, to include sheets, towels, kitchen ware, blanket, pillow, and other various items.  A resident does not have to worry about their electric or water services, as they are provided by TN Development Corporation.

Oak Hill is a great place for a homeless person to start over and to get back on their feet.  It will provide a permanent housing solution for a qualified applicant.
